ROBOMORE investigates distributed and decentralized intelligence and cognition. The research group  works on coordination of autonomous robots from the software point of view. In particular, it focuses on distributed and decentralized approaches to achieve a dynamic and adaptive coordination, exploiting also bio-inspired techniques.

The possible application fields cover a wide range, from swarms of small robots that can coordinate to carry out a high-level task, to autonomous vehicles, both collaborating and self-interested.

Further research field is the management of services in the context of virtual factories, which can model robotic plants.
